Mohammed Alqubaisi

Chairman

Mohamed A. Alqubaisi is a distinguished entrepreneur and seasoned senior executive with a remarkable career in banking and finance spanning over 35 years in the UAE. Mr. Alqubaisi spent a decade at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the UAE’s largest commercial bank at the time, where he successfully led various divisions, including Domestic, International, and Capital Markets businesses. He also played a vital role as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the country’s largest Islamic Bank at the time, for five years.

Throughout his career, Mr. Alqubaisi has held board positions at prestigious institutions, including Visa International, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and Qatar Telecom among others. He has an impressive track record of establishing and overseeing the operations of multiple successful enterprises across diverse industries and markets. His achievements include setting up a bank, a finance company, two stock brokerage operations, three insurance companies, and more.

Apart from being the Founder of Finance House, Mr. Alqubaisi currently serves on the boards of various public and private companies in the UAE and GCC. These companies are involved in finance, investment, insurance, real estate, construction and IT, among other sectors.

Mr. Alqubaisi holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Raman is a seasoned C-level executive with a successful track record spanning 40+ years, across multiple industries and disciplines. Raman guides the Finance House Group with unwavering vision and decisive action. His name is synonymous with strategic leadership, financial acumen and operational excellence, all honed through diverse experiences in the UAE and India.

Dr. Fadi Khalaf

Board Member

Dr. Fadi Khalaf has served as the Secretary General of the Association of Banks in Lebanon (ABL) since April 2022. His expertise extends to vital roles at BLOM BANK S.A.L and BLOMINVEST BANK S.A.L, where he has been an Independent Board Member since July 2020, contributing to various committees across BLOM BANK Group Entities.

Dr. Khalaf has significantly impacted the financial sector through tenures as the Secretary General of the Arab Federation of Exchanges and Chairman of the Beirut Stock Exchange. His international contributions include membership in the OECD-MENA Corporate Governance Working Group and the French Association of Technical Analysts (AFATE).

Academically, Dr. Khalaf holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Paris I – Sorbonne, France, and has authored a book on the Lebanese Pound. His commitment to the industry is further demonstrated through his extensive research, publications, and participation in international conferences, solidifying his position as a respected figure in the global finance industry.


H.E. Alia Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrouei

Her Excellency Alia Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Former Minister of State for Entrepreneurship – United Arab Emirates, is a distinguished Emirati leader, known for her multifaceted contributions to government, entrepreneurship, and private enterprise. With a career that bridges public policy and private sector innovation, she brings a rare blend of visionary leadership, operational expertise, and a deep commitment to national development.

Over the years, H.E. Al Mazrouei has held several senior roles across leading government entities. Her leadership tenure includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the UAE’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. She also held key advisory and executive positions such as Director General of the Human Resources Authority (HRA), Director General of the Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG), and Advisor at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development — each contributing to her broad influence on economic and human capital policy in the UAE.

Beyond government, she was Group Chief Operating Officer at Mazrui International, a diversified conglomerate established by her family, where she oversaw complex business operations spanning multiple industries.

An accomplished entrepreneur in her own right, H.E. Al Mazrouei founded Little Haven Nursery in 2013 and continues to champion women-led businesses and emerging Emirati talent. Her achievements have earned her prestigious recognition, including the Arab Woman Award for Entrepreneurship (2013) and repeated listings in Forbes Middle East’s Most Powerful Arab Women, highlighting her status as a regional role model.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (MIS) and an MBA in Global Leadership from the United Arab Emirates University. Known for her strategic clarity, inclusive leadership, and passion for national impact, H.E. Alia Al Mazrouei continues to play a vital role in shaping the UAE’s entrepreneurial and economic future.


Mr. Faras Abdul Kareem Ismail Hasan Alramahi

Board Member

Faras Al Ramahi is a seasoned investment leader and financial strategist with over two decades of experience across sovereign wealth, private equity, asset management, and institutional finance.

As Director General and former Acting Executive Director of the Investment Division at the General Pension & Social Security Authority (GPSSA), he has overseen the strategic direction, risk governance, and long-term asset growth of one of the UAE’s critical public institutions. His leadership has focused on regulatory alignment, investment performance, and sustainable value creation.

Previously, as Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD), Faras led a successful turnaround, implementing a comprehensive restructuring of the investment portfolio and spearheading multiple strategic exits. He played an instrumental role in optimizing fund performance, building a new asset management platform, and expanding infrastructure through advanced systems and policy frameworks.

In addition to his executive leadership roles, he founded SilverTorch Management Consultancy to support regional businesses in corporate finance, debt restructuring, and growth capital strategies.

Faras has held senior positions at institutions including CAPM Investment, Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC), Masdar, and the Abu Dhabi Farmers Service Center. He has also served on the boards of Massar Solutions, Abu Dhabi Investment Management, Union Properties, Stella Stays, and others, contributing to governance, investment strategy, and institutional reform.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has completed Level II of the CFA program. In recognition of his contributions to the public sector, he was awarded the Excellence in Finance distinction at the MENA CFO Strategic Forum.

Throughout his career, Faras has been recognized for bringing together financial acumen, strategic foresight, and operational excellence to shape institutions that drive long-term impact.


Mr. Khaled Abdulla Mohamed Abdulla Almass

Board Member

Khaled Abdulla Almass is a seasoned investment professional with more than 28 years of leadership experience across the UAE’s public and private sectors. A results-driven and visionary leader, he has played a pivotal role in shaping investment strategies and driving financial performance for some of the country’s most influential institutions.

He previously served as Head of Investment Division at Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC), where he was responsible for overseeing corporate finance, private equity, local shares, real estate, and hedge fund investments. His track record includes involvement in high-impact IPOs with a combined value exceeding AED 8 billion, including landmark listings such as Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, and Emirates Foodstuff.

In addition to his executive roles, Mr. Almass has held several prominent board positions across sectors including energy, health, insurance, and finance. These include TAQA, SEHA, Munich Re, Al Waha Investment Company, and CAPM Investment Bank. Khaled Abdulla Mohamed Al-Mass is currently the Chairman at Imass Investments and also leads I-Tech Engineering Consultancy.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Marylhurst University in Oregon, USA. Known for his detail-oriented leadership, innovative thinking, and strong relationship-building capabilities, he continues to champion progress across investment and enterprise initiatives in the UAE.
